Music on the Mess Deck 3: Sheena Wellington

Posted on behalf of HMS Unicorn

We are delighted to welcome renowned Scottish artist Sheena Wellington on board for our Music on the Mess Deck series. Sheena will be delivering an hour long event of traditional Scottish song, which will be mixed parts of performance and singing workshop.

Dundee born and bred, Sheena Wellington is one of Scottish traditional music’s most passionate advocates, an internationally recognised champion of Robert Burns who delivered a stirring rendition of A 'Man’s a Man for a’ That' at the Scottish Parliament’s opening in 1999.

Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day. Please dress warmly.

This event is free but there is a suggested donation of £2.00 which will aid the work of the Unicorn Preservation Society.

Advanced booking is recommended as spaces are limited.

This series of events is made possible thanks to Tasgadh & Creative Scotland
