The Artificial Age: Opportunities, Risks and Ethical Issues for Education


Smart technology, artificial Intelligence, internet of things, biotechnology and robots are all having a significant impact on the world around us. But what are the implications for the education sector which has largely been unaffected to-date? 


Abertay University's Vice-Principal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Liz Bacon will discuss the possibilities, ethical issues and risks, as well as analysing future educational models and what these could mean for institutions and learners.


This free event will be held in the Main Lecture Theatre on Thursday 13 June at 4.00pm, followed by a drinks reception.
